We are a family run business founded in 1951. The company is now firmly established through out the whole of Cumbria, Southern Scotland and the North East. We are rightly proud of our reputation for quality in all the work we carry out, whether this is from a small repair to a multi-million pound new build project. We approach all our work with professionalism and dedication ensuring that all the client’s needs are met or exceeded.
The company has grown steadily to encompass all facets of the construction industry. We pride ourselves on the quality of work that we carry out. This is achieved by directly employing the majority of our labour. If we have to sub-contract work then this is either to specialists or to our small list of approved contractors, many of whom have worked for us for years.

The Environment. As with health and safety we are committed to the environment. The buildings within the UK contribute a large percentage of the green house gases emitted each year by this country. In our own way we aim to facilitate and champion change within all the buildings we come into contact. To this end we are working towards our CBEN Gold Award.
