Home Battery Storage for Totton homes
For households across Totton and the western New Forest, battery suitability depends on when electricity is used, the chosen tariff, installation space and whether solar panels are already installed. We can discuss storing excess solar generation, charging at off-peak times where appropriate, and the difference between standard battery operation and optional backup power. A site assessment is needed to confirm equipment compatibility and installation requirements.
What happens during the assessment?
We review practical battery locations, ventilation and manufacturer clearances, inverter compatibility, metering and electrical protection. If backup power is important, ask us about the additional hardware and circuits that may be required; not every battery provides whole-home backup. Your quotation will set out the proposed system and any required electrical work.
